I started with a vanilla image which is a WIM file and the bare bones task sequence (bitlocker, formatting, install OS, install SCCM agent, join to domain, NO APPS).That works fine. However, when I added applications to the task sequence at the end between installing sccm agent and turning on bitlocker, it reboots after the client installation, but comes to a blue 'just a moment screen' after the reboot and its just circling for 20 minutes now. Im going to keep it running to let it finish, but previously I used to get progress bars on each application installation.
I would much prefer that.Has anyone run into that?. I found this searching the vastness of the intarwebz as I too was having this problem.Turns out the driver for the NIC was not the right one in SCCM, and it failed installing it and then proceeded to fail every single task following it.Figure I would add my findings in case anyone else is like me, and just plain idiotic for not loading the drivers for this specific machine. We typically image Latitudes, but one group has been getting Precision laptops. So the ding dong peach fuzz brain of mine rolled the dice, and didn't come out on top.
